Dan Brady's nativity set for 18 Cents - Hong Kong #427T

Dan Brady writes in his blog "Brady's Bunch of Lorain County Nostalgia"  about vintage ads, photos, postcards and reminiscing.
In this blog he also wrote an article about a little nativity set which he has owned since the mid-sixties. Not difficult to guess: it is one of the little sets we are talking about here.
Dan Brady kindly allowed me to use parts of his article for my blog.

The nativity set:
This nativity set was produced in Hong Kong, production number #427T, no other markings. As there are numerous variations of these nativity sets, even different figures were used. In this Creche we have the well known characters of Mary, Joseph, kings, shepherd, donkey and ox in the flat style. But baby Jesus and the sheep are different here, they are full-figure-modelled (see picture). Model #427 apparently had not tree. Height: 15 cm, width: 12,5 cm, condition: complete.
